Severance Agreements

Many employees who are terminated are presented with a severance agreement that offers compensation in return for the employee’s agreement to waive and release all claims against the employer. Often, these agreements also contain restrictive covenants, also known as non-compete provisions. We help employees who are making the decision about whether to sign such an agreement. We strongly recommend that you not sign any severance agreement without having an attorney review the agreement beforehand.
